As línguas sempre foram algo que me chamou muito a atenção. Esse fascínio me motivou a começar a estudar inglês aos 13 anos e francês aos 14. Sempre adorei o fato de poder entender uma língua e ser capaz de 'decifrar' aquela mensagem para outra pessoa. Percebi mais tarde que esse sentimento – o de ajudar as pessoas a se comunicarem – sempre esteve por trás do amor que tenho pelas línguas.

Buscando desenvolver minha paixão por idiomas e ampliar meu conhecimento ainda mais, me formei em Letras-Tradução em 1998, pela Universidade de Brasília e em Francês (curso NANCY III) pela Aliança Francesa de Brasília. Logo após as duas formações, decidi me mudar para Londres. Os quase 5 anos em terras inglesas me deram uma rica experiência linguística, e também tive a oportunidade de trabalhar como intérprete comunitário em hospitais e tribunais, fazendo interpretação consecutiva. Voltei ao Brasil em 2010, e desde então utilizo as habilidades adquiridas na minha graduação e minha experiência cultural e linguística no Reino Unido para traduzir, ensinar inglês e trabalhar como intérprete.

Ao longo dos anos tive a oportunidade de atuar em diversas áreas, trabalhando em projetos, eventos, treinamentos e reuniões de várias empresas multinacionais, organizações internacionais e órgãos públicos.

Em 2017, decidi abrir minha própria empresa na área de soluções linguísticas, a Belinguee, com sede em São Paulo, Brasil.

I have always had a preference for languages. This affinity had driven me to start studying English at the age of 13 and French at 14. I have always loved the fact that I can understand and even ‘decipher’ something for another person. I realised later on that this feeling – helping people communicate – was behind the devotion that I hold for languages.

To build on my passion for languages and develop my knowledge in detail, I initiated classes to earn a university degree in translation studies in 1998. At the end of the course, I decided to transfer to London. Whilst there I enjoyed 5 years of rich linguistic experience and had the opportunity to work as a health care/court interpreter doing consecutive interpreting. I returned to Brazil in 2010 and have supported myself using the skills from my degree and my experience in the United Kingdom, translating, teaching English and working as an interpreter.

I've had the opportunity over the last few years to work in various fields, including finance and economics, and have participated in projects, events and meetings by multinational corporations and international organizations including the World Bank and the Central Bank of Brazil - just to name two of them.

​In 2017, I started my own company, Belinguee, headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil.
